BOP Functions and Types

Many of our blogs are about the types of blowout preventers there are and what they do. Considering this is the main piece of equipment we sell, this makes sense! Recently, we wrote about pipe rams, what they are, and how they worked. These pieces of equipment are part of what helps oil rigs mitigate risks without sacrificing production. 

Oil Drilling and Safety

Safety has to be the first concern of every person who works on a rig, Even when that is true though, sometimes bad things can happen. That is why we compiled a list of the most common accidents on an oil rig. With this information, you can be aware of what to watch out for, and why certain procedures are important. 

Essential Drilling Equipment

One of our priorities as a company is to ensure our clients have what they need to be safe and successful. We outlined four pieces of equipment an oil rig needs to be functional and safe so you didn’t need to guess. While there are many more pieces of machinery that are required, we wanted to cover the bare basics.
